| Foundation Tackles X-Ray Room Project - | ||
The X-Ray room at Ellinwood District Hospital was updated with state-of-the-art radiology equipment in the spring of 2007. The Foundation spearheaded fundraising efforts, and presented the hospital a check for $65,000 which was one-half of the total cost. The Foundation Board appreciates the generous gifts of individuals, businesses and memorial donors. |

| What is the Area Health Care Foundation -
The Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization established in 1987. It is dedicated to serving the health care needs of this community. The Area Health Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes to improve medical services for residents in the Ellinwood vicinity. Projects are made possible entirely through donations, planned giving, and memorials. This group anticipates continued support in reaching the $131,000 goal for their first major project-the modern Radiology Room at Ellinwood District Hospital. |
