Charlie Joslin, MD

Dr. Charlie Joslin was a practicing nurse and attended a Baptist Seminary before entering Medical School at the University of Kansas where he earned his Doctorate in Medicine in 1988.

He and his family moved to Ellinwood in 2009, when he began practicing Family Medicine at our clinic, with a special interest in growing relationships with patients,  caring for the whole family, and providing a personalized service, just like his great-grandfather did in his time as a physician.

Dr. Joslin and his wife, Denise, have 1 son, Peter, and niece, Sam, and nephew, Gray. The family enjoys cross country, working out, and attending church and education.

Dr. Christopher Brown received his undergraduate degrees from Kansas State University. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Kansas in 2001.

In addition to practicing Family Medicine at our clinic, he teaches medical students at the University of Kansas-Salina campus.  The Salina campus is focused on producing more rural primary care physicians.

Dr. Brown's hobbies include spending time with his wife and 2 children, Ethan and Lily; innovative practice design; and he has been known to spend some weekends tinkering on a Ford Mustang and the family cars.

Debbie Wolfe, APRN

Debbie Wolfe, APRN, earned her Master's in Nursing Practice from Wichita State University in 1993.  She began working for a third-party provider service, and was introduced to our Emergency Room and Clinic in 2010. She enjoyed the work here so much that when an opening came up, she began to practice here as a regular provider.

Debbie has lived in Sterling (Kansas) her whole life.  She and her husband have horses, calves, dogs, and a cat, as well as some quail we raised.  She enjoys counted cross stitch and other hand embroideries.  They have one son, Scott, who is a paramedic with Rice County EMS.

Diane Haines, APRN

Diane Haines, APRN, was in the first graduating class of nurses at Barton County Community College, where she received her Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN). She later went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science (BSN) degree from Newman University and the Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree of a Family Nurse Practitioner at Fort Hays State University.

Diane lives in Ellinwood, and has been married to her husband, Steven, for 20 years. They have three children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading all types of literature and doing crossword puzzles.
