THERAPY SERVICES

Therapy Services are available on an inpatient or an outpatient basis. With the help or our dedicated staff, you can get back your strength and range of motion following injury or illness.

 

Our experienced therapists can help with services personalized to your situation. Care for arthritis, neck, back, and joint pain, osteoporosis, athletic injuries, stroke, sprains, strains, and fractures, and much more is available. 

 

PHYSICAL THERAPY

Physical therapy is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialty that remediates impairments and promotes mobility, function, and quality of life through examination, diagnosis, prognosis, and physical intervention (therapy using mechanical force and movements).

 

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Occupational therapy is the use of assessment and treatment to develop, recover, or maintain the daily living and work skills of people with a physical, mental, or cognitive disorder. Occupational therapists also focus much of their work on identifying and eliminating environmental barriers to independence and participation in daily activities

 

SPEECH THERAPY

Speech therapy is the evaluation and treatment of communication disorders and swallowing disorders. Speech therapy is available for inpatients.

 

WOUND CARE & DRESSING CHANGES

Wounds develop for a variety of reasons: diabetes, cancer and certain other diseases; ulcers and bedsores; animal and insect bites; poor circulation; chronic bone infections; radiation tissue damage; skin grafts; crush injuries; surgery or trauma; and fungus infections. Our dedicated staff can help you through that healing process by providing regular wound care.
