OB/GYN services starting October 21
In an effort to provide needed services to local residents, Ellinwood Hospital and Clinic is expanding its range of specialty services offered at the Ellinwood Clinic.
Dr. Lindsay Nordwald, of the Hutchinson Clinic will begin seeing patients in the Ellinwood Clinic on a monthly basis, starting October 21. She will take appointments for the third Thursday of the month, and will see patients for well-woman exams, pap smears, IUD insertions, Nexplanon insertions. Dr. Nordwald will see prenatal appointments in Ellinwood, however some of the visits might need to be scheduled in Hutchinson due to resources. Any deliveries or surgeries will still be performed in Hutchinson.
"This is a great opportunity for our patients," reports Kile Magner, Ellinwood Hospital and Clinic CEO. "Having specialty services like this available is better for patient and overall community health."
Dr. Nordwald is a da Vinci Trained Physician and has been practicing at the Hutchinson Clinic since 2014. She attended medical school at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, KS and completed her residency there. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Medical Association, American Associates of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the American College of Surgeons Resident and Associate Study.
