ELLINWOOD, Kan. – Ellinwood Hospital and Clinic is expanding access to specialty care by partnering with Salina Urology to offer urology services locally.
Dr. William Mauch, M.D., F.A.C.S., and Dr. Michael Matteucci, M.D., will provide outreach clinics twice a month in Ellinwood, bringing advanced care closer to home for patients in central Kansas.
“Urology covers a wide range of conditions that affect everyday quality of life, from kidney stones and prostate health to bladder concerns and reproductive issues,” said Kile Magner, chief executive officer of Ellinwood Hospital and Clinic. “We’re proud to make this specialty care more convenient for our patients and community.”
Dr. Mauch, a Great Bend native, is board-certified by the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He brings decades of experience in kidney and prostate care, cancer screening, and complex urologic procedures.
Dr. Matteucci specializes in female reconstructive surgery and robotic prostate and kidney surgeries using the Da Vinci Robot. He also has extensive experience in general urology, including stone disease, male infertility, vasectomy reversals, and voiding dysfunction.
Patients may schedule appointments for Ellinwood through Salina Urology by calling the Ellinwood clinic’s outreach office.
The addition of urology builds on Ellinwood Hospital and Clinic’s ongoing growth in specialty services, ensuring patients can receive high-quality, advanced care without the need to travel far from home.
